Here is what our Gramercy owner's have to say. What makes our Gramercy Club at Burnhaven stand out from other 55+ c
Why I like living at Gramercy. 1. Gramercy Club is my "safe haven." This 24-7 locked facility makes me feel safe morning, noon, and night -no matter where I am in the building. 2. Once per year Gramercy Club is professionally cleaned inside and out. Life doesn't get any better than this. 3. Our talented, full-time maintenance professional keeps our building in tip-top shape and assists with individual "fix-up" requests. 4. Oh, and did I mention "Guest Suites" - just the best! Takes the stress out of the words "company coming." Kay Y.
Making a Great Lifestyle Decision Three years ago we made a decision to move to an Independent Living Cooperative. We wanted to choose our next living style while we were able to and not to burden our children. What a great decision that was. We are now a part of a caring, happy, busy community. Gramercy Burnhaven was our first choice after an extensive search. We love the year around beauty of the property including the manicured lawn, trees and fountains. Our location allows easy access to shopping, restaurants, health care, entertainment and a library. Our amenities include our indoor pool, spa, sauna and virtual golf and fitness center. Living here offers a full calendar of life enriching activities. Wellness classes, adult education, weekly coffee, steak fries, potlucks and other planned and unplanned events allows us to meet and make new friends. Friends here care about each other. It is great to have someone nearby who can identify, empathize and even laugh at shared struggles and triumphs. They help us to have a positive attitude. Gramercy Burnhaven is a "Happy Place." If you might like to check us out we'e like to meet you. Pat L.
November 30, 2005 we moved to the Gramercy. We have enjoyed the people and all the activities. The Gramercy is a caring place to live and we are glad to call the Gramercy our home. Rich and Caroline
Gramercy has always been a welcoming community to me. I feel fortunate to have chosen it as my retirement home! And, to be surrounded by so many special people. Also the Holiday Season decorations are a special memory to me. Jim
Moved to Minnesota to be near family and gained a whole new “Gramercy family”. So happy to be here. Marie Home is where the heart is … a place where people share and understand each other. Home is Gramercy! Nancy N
Read a testimonial from an outside instructor of a balance class:
"I am a retired social worker and now facilitator for Matter of Balance classes. The purpose of the 8 weeks of classes is to promote fall prevention through information, discussions and exercises. Residents and I recently completed the 8 sessions at Gramercy. While the group was involved and responsive to the program, I was touched by the congeniality and support that existed among the residents of Gramercy. They seemed to just really enjoy each other's company. As we talked about exercise I became aware of the many opportunities Gramercy offers...exercise/health and wellness opportunities and creative and social opportunities that bring residents together. I couldn't help but think it is an ideal living arrangement for seniors."
